A great tool for staying productive is called focus booster.
It's a great and nifty little program which is free by the way that just counts down the time for chunks of 25 min.
After that you get 5 minutes of rest. The more blocks of time you get to complete the more productive you will be.
It's a very simple concept, but it really works. It's called the Pomodoro Technique.
